#  Gopichand birth name is Tottempudi Gopichand. He was born on 12th Jun 1979 in Hyderabad, India.

#  He was born in a filmy family, his father T. Krishna was a well known filmmaker in telugu film industry hence it was piece of cake for him to enter films but success comes only from hard work, he struggled for years to establish himself solidly in the industry. His father T. Krishna died when he was just 8 years.

#  Earlier he had no plans for films and was concentrating on his studies in Russia pursuing his engineering degree but could not complete it due to some family issues.

#  His elder brother T. Premchand was a director and died in a car accident. He has a sister, who is a dentist.

#  After the death of his brother he entered the films as a director and later started to act in films. His debut movie Tholi Valapu in 2001 failed in box-office meserably. In his next movie Jayam he performed negative role and it was a huge hit, turning his career around.
