#  Kangna Ranaut was born on 20th Mar 1987 in Bhambla, Himachal Pradesh, India to Amardeep, a businessman and Asha, a school teacher. Basically she is from Rajput royal family in Jaipur,her ancestors later moved to Himachal.

#  She has two siblings, Rangoli is her elder sister and Akshit is her younger brother.

#  She did her early education in Dehradun and later pursued her modeling career by joining “Elite Modeling Agency”, Delhi in 2003.

#  Ranaut started to work for “Asmita Theatre Group” Delhi, as a theatre actor. She acted in several plays. Arvind Gaur played vital role in molding her career, Girish Karnad’s Taledanda was her first play with him.

#  She made her Bollywood acting debut with “Gangster” in 2006 opposite Emraan Hashmi, the movie was a huge commercial hit and her performance was appreciated by film lovers. Her initial successful movies were Gangster, Woh Lamhe, Fashion etc.
